It's mifa 2011 - Autumn in KL GALA by YODA

YODA, Young Designers Arena established in a fashion industries to develop and grow the fashion scene in Malaysia among young and talented fashion designers. YODA showcase their young fashion designers creation during the Malaysia International Fashion Week (mifw 2011) on 21 Nov 2011, featuring "Autumn in KL "Gala. 

YODA，年轻设计师竞技会，是一个在马来西亚时尚业为年轻和有才华的时装设计师建立, 发展和壮大的时装舞台. YODA 于2011年11月21日在[马来西亚国际时装周- mifw 2011]（mifw​​2011年）期间展示他们青年时装设计师的创作，取名为"在吉隆坡的秋季"!

Fall Collection 2011 ( Esprit 秋冬时装秀)

A surprise fashion show (for me, at least...) held at Mid Valley Shopping Mall recently where ESPRIT showcase their latest fall collection for 2011. It's on the day where the [Kuala Lumpur Photography Fair  (KLPF)] was held at the exhibition hall within the same shopping center.

To my surprise, not many hobbyist photographers seen during the show. Maybe most of them still hanging around at KLPF for better bargain. (or Model shots)

 这是最近在谷中城购物中心举行的时装秀. ESPRIT品牌展示它们2011年最新秋冬时装. (其实小弟也不晓得有这场秀, 惊喜啊!) 

这场秀于[吉隆坡摄影器材展]同一天同一座商场举行, 令我惊讶地不是很多摄影爱好者在秀场拍摄, 也许所有摄友们仍在器材展中忙碌为心头好在讨价还价吧! (拍展场MM!)

it's MIFA 2011 (大马国际时装节)

MIFW 2011 opens on 21 Nov and end on 27 Nov 2011. The Malaysia International Fashion Week (MIFW) is the definitive fashion event in Malaysia. It is a highly visible platform where both established and up-and-coming local designers are invited to showcase their talents.

首先，我想感谢MIFA - 马来西亚国际时装周2011（MIFW）的主办当局，给予小弟的摄影师通关证到现场拍摄采访. 谢谢你 - MIFA！

MIFW 2011开始于2011年11月21日至11月27日结束。马来西亚国际时装周（MIFW）是马来西亚权威性年度时尚盛会。这也是为未来本地设计师走向国际所建立的一个非常明显的平台, 以让他们展示自己的才华.

Few simple snapshots of some Show-girls during a photography exhibition held in KL recently.

Using the available ambience lighting and pushing up the ISO….(trying my luck!)

I like those girls with natural look and feel, very much like " the girl I meet next door " kind.

利用现场的照明以保存氛围，再推高ISO作业....

我个人比较喜欢那些自然妆的女孩，非常有那 “我遇到的邻家女孩”般的感觉......素人万岁！

お早う, 花咲く | Morning, Flower!

This is a short, ad-hoc photography session with Kellen at Putrajaya. (While I am doing the couple shots)

For this session, I used a Canon Speedlite 580EX II pointed on the right side of Kellen to compensate against the strong sun light form the back. I try to captured some morning sun light effect while keeping Kellen properly expose….I really have fun playing with the lighting! (..and thanks to my "human light-stand" - Kien for his help)

这是一场为Kellen在Putrajaya的简短外拍!

对于这次外拍作业，我用上一枝Canon 580EX II外闪从Kellen左侧捕光; 以弥补/相抵于背后强烈阳光的影响。我尝试以保持Kellen正确曝光为准再捕捉一些早晨太阳光线的效果...偶尔来些采光拍摄真有Fun(乐趣)！

在此也感谢当天的"人肉灯架" - 小健艰苦为我把灯!

Princess Wedding プリンセスウエディング

Just share a few shots from one of the wedding registration photography assignment held at Putrajaya recently.

While walking out of the Registration's office, I notice the long walkway and the morning sun, so I asked the couple to stop and snap some photos. We really have fun taken those photos!

久未发帖,这次分享最近在布城 (Putrajaya)婚姻注册局拍摄任务的一些外拍照片。

走出婚姻注册局办公室外时发现这条长长的行人道和早晨的阳光，所以我决定停下并要求新人摆几个Poses进行拍摄。当时拍(玩)的满开心!

[小刀锯大树] 用富士X100拍摄一场异国婚宴

我爱用富士X100是因为它的体积和一定程度上的图像质量保证。

当初进手富士X100时我多用于一些街头摄影, 或拍摄一些旅行快照。 我从来没有想过使用它作为拍摄婚宴的主要机种,因为我必须承认它在快速对焦上的缺点。

当我内子的弟弟邀请我为他拍摄在清迈的婚宴时，其实我是举棋不定的. 要携带沉重的单反或者仅仅使用富士X100作为唯一的拍摄工具好呢? 最后，我决定以轻便为主, 也想把富士X100推向另一场我无法预计后果的极大考验！(看来好像对新人不太公平吧!)

起程时背包内只有这唯一一架相机和一粒备用电池, 千里迢迢从吉隆坡出发到距离清迈市往北部大约二百多公里的一座小城(Mae-Ai)去拍摄这场对内子家人非常重要又特殊的异国婚宴!

说句真心话..刚到清迈市时心中真的有些不安! 不知道富士X100是否能胜任…在没有强劲器材的支援下亦对自己的摄影能力作出另一次的考验..

在星期四早上在用早餐时听到关于史蒂夫乔布斯（Steve Jobs 1955 - 2011）逝世的消息，心中感到非常的痛心和可惜。 

早在2003年开始用的Powerbook时就对这位天才的创意力和行销战略印像深刻。

在智能手机(smartphone)苦苦试图获得大众市场接受当时, 这位巨人推出了革命性的iPhone 而改变了整个市场的竞争格局. 我还很清晰记的他当时的Keynote演讲.

当平板电脑 (Tablet computer)面临市场严峻的挑战时, iPad 改变了人们对平板电脑的种种批评... 他的智慧，创意，毅力, 決心与對巿场触觉的判断使我有时觉得他不属于(地球)这个时代!
