The Malaysia Mega Sales heats brings in number of fashion shows in KL. One of which was held at Berjaya Time Square in conjunction with the IT fair.
For the last 2 years, Time Square fashion are held at outdoor and the weather is killing...
One special technique of shooting in such semi-outdoor environment is the control of camera exposure setting. The subject (a.k.a the Model) can easily be under exposure as a result of the high contrast background. I usually apply some flash to balance the exposure..
I must said that this year, the stage deco and design comes as a surprise and it's very well done for Time Square event management team.

Taking advantage of the stage lighting and the strong sun light from the top of the model...sometime this can create a very similar exposure effect as inside a studio...(..ummmm..I like it except for the heats come from the sun....)
In this series, the images are intentionally over-exposure by 1/3 - 1/2 a stops (or there about) to "wash" out the not so nice and busy background.
