Finally, I managed to get one for myself. I bought it at Taipei
in May 2010 (for under USD 20) and now it's sitting on my office's desk and served as the new home for all my lose items... my Pens! It's now my most expensive piece of stationery sitting on my desk so far...USD 20! 
I guess most people use it as an ordinary MUG for their daily coffee and drinks but I think it's a waste to use it as a MUG! Honestly, I'm afraid that all the "cheap" prints on the MUG disappear when I wash it too often....haha!
No intention to write an in depth review about this MUG (by the way, this is the Version 1 while the new version comes with a lens cover- Cool!) as there is noting to write about it!
The quality of the MUG is..well.."it’s acceptable as a MUG!"..!!
The workmanship is so-so...the words printed on the MUG look cheap and may disappear easily if use extensively! For sure the IS button is not working so don’t try you luck. Same things for both the focus & zoom ring.
For Canon’s fans, I guess it’s a must-have or good-to-have-one kind of item if you willing to pay USD 20 for it! I am surely a big fan of Canon.!
